We buy businesses built to outlast us.

Cedar Crest Partners acquires established manufacturing and financial services companies across British Columbia and holds them for the long run. Not to flip. To grow, steward, and keep rooted here.

The Thesis

Capital that stays put.

The western redcedar is British Columbia's provincial tree, a species that measures its life in centuries, not quarters. We named the firm for it on purpose.

Cedar Crest exists to buy well-run B.C. businesses and hold them permanently, not to package them for a quick resale a few years later.

We look for companies with a real moat: a manufacturing process that's hard to copy, a book of financial-services clients built on years of trust, a team that knows the business better than any spreadsheet does. Once we buy in, we invest in what already works and give owners, employees, and customers continuity instead of upheaval.

We're not looking for an exit. We're looking for the next thirty years.

Where We Invest

Three sectors, deep experience.

Manufacturing

Precision fabrication, industrial equipment, and specialty manufacturers with a defensible process and a loyal customer base.

Industrial & Specialty

Financial Services

Accounting firms are our primary focus, alongside other regulated, relationship-driven financial businesses with recurring revenue.

Regulated & Recurring

Distribution

Wholesale distribution businesses, whether a single location or a multi-branch chain, built on reliable supplier and customer relationships.

Wholesale & Logistics
What We Look For

Our acquisition criteria

Every business is different, but the ones that fit us well tend to share a few things:

Headquartered and operating in British Columbia

$1M–$5M in EBITDA*

10+ years of operating history

A defensible position competitors can't easily copy

An owner considering succession, retirement, or partial liquidity

A management team ready to stay through transition, or open to one

*Illustrative range. Every situation is considered on its own merits. If you're close but not exact, we'd still like to talk.
